18 cm * 30 cm = 540 sq cm
540 sq cm = 0.0540 sq m .......[ considering 1 sq cm = 0.0001 sq m]

ALTERNATE if you are not comfortable with above conversion
convert each sides into meter before finding area

18 cm = 0.18 m
30 cm = 0.30 m

Area = 0.18 * 0.30 = 0.0540 sq m
hence A

$$Area = \frac{18*30}{100*100}$$

Or, $$Area = 0.054$$

So, answer will be (A) 0.054 sq. meter
