+1 for B.

Avg of score of 9 students = 7.5
Sum of scores of 9 students = 7.5 * 9 = 67.5

To minimize the avg score of 10 students, 10th student should score the least i.e, 0

Therefore,
Sum of scores of 10 students 67.5 + 0 = 67.5
Average score of 10 students = Sum of scores of 10 students / 10
= 67.5/10
= 6.75

Hence, B.

A. 6.5
B. 6.75
C. 7.0
D. 7.25
E. 7.5

Total score of 9 students = 7.5 *9 = 67.5.

We are asked to find out the least average score of 10 students.

Assume no. 10 students score 0.

Total of 10 students score = 67.5 + 0 =67.5

Average score of 10 students = 67.5 /10
= 6.75

Option B is the answer.

Sum of scores of 9 students = 7.5 * 9 = 67.5

For the average to be least the 10th students has to contribute the least to the average.

Least score possible for 10th student is 0.

Hence Sum of score of 9 students + score of 10th Student = 67.5 + 0 = 67.5

Therefore least possible average score of the 10 students = 67.5/10 = 6.75

Answer B.

The sum for the 9 students is 9 x 7.5 = 67.5.

If the last students received a 0, the lowest possible average would be 67.5/10 = 6.75

Answer: B
