Hi guys,
Let me just give you my background. I am 24 now and am working in an IT company in India for past 3 and half years.
I have already given GMAT twice and could't get a great score on either of the two.
GMAT 1 - August'12 - 590 (Q41, V29)
GMAT 2 - August'13 - 540
(Q44, V20)
Both the times I thought I was ready for the exam and that I will nail it. But it is now that I have realized that just dreaming about 700+ score is not going to get you in the actual exam. I have been pretty good in Maths throughout my education. So for the first exam I never concentrated on Quant Section. And then for the 2nd exam I didn't give much attention to the Verbal Section. I practiced a lot for both the exams but never strategized anything. Just used to solve and see if my answer is right or wrong. Never put up an
error log which could have given me a good idea of if I am ready for the exam.
Its been just a month now that I got to know about this forum incidentally through one of the test mates.
He took ChineseBird's name and said that he is active here and generally studies using this forum. I was amazed at that. Finally after I got 540, I took sometime to go over this forum. And now I have realized that there is a lot to study.
I read some of the posts on this forum and I get motivated when I see those getting 700+ and read their success stories. Well all the credit to the founders of this forum.
Though at this point I would want some guidance and motivation of how I should study when I have already invested so much time and to score more than 700. I have taken a bold decision to give it a one more try since I truly believe that
You Lose only when You have stopped trying. But I don't want to just try and try all the time. This time I want to nail it no matter what it takes. One more thing that I am planning for 2014 Class, so I don't have much time since the 2nd Round deadlines will be over soon.
Thanks in advance!!!
