Passionate. Superior mentorship. Content mastery. Delivers.
Dana is all of these and much more. With her in my corner, I overcame 18 months of test-taking anxiety and achieved my 700+ dream score that got me into Harvard.
Prior to working with GMAT Ninja, I digested 3 prep courses and took over 20 diagnostic tests. Despite cresting the 700 barrier in practice, I never broke a 650 in the real deal. After 1.5 years of nonstop practice and grinding, I felt like I had nothing to show. After taking a short hiatus from prep, I decided to retackle the gmat but with a tutor, and connected with Dana.
After the first session, I was blown away. Dana ignited a fire within me to charge forward. Dana treats time preciously, she will come to each session prepared and energized to make gains. Together, we exposed the quant and verbal thinking traps that depressed my scores and propagated inconsistency. She walked me through robust strategies to hold up against the most challenging questions and we drilled them to perfection. With Dana's coaching, my practice tests vaulted into the 740 range and I achieved a 49Q, 41V in Official Tests: scores that would open the gates to HBS and many other programs.
If you are seriously trying to squeeze out your highest potential, Dana will take you to the top.

I would recommend GMAT Ninja to anyone looking to improve their score on the test. I worked with Alex at GMAT Ninja for roughly 9 weeks before taking my test, and I saw tremendous improvement in my Quant ability over the course of our sessions together (my math was quite rusty after 5 or so years of not needing to solve for "x"). What differentiated Alex from a normal math tutor, however, was his in depth knowledge of the test itself. He gave me a highly practical toolkit that enabled me outperform on the quant section. I think that anyone - even someone scoring well - would benefit from at least one session with Alex before going into a test. Thank you, Alex and GMAT Ninja team!

Coming from an extremely weak quantitative background and 8 months of studying using various programs and resources, I had taken the GMAT four times before reaching out to GMAT Ninja. I was feeling quite hopeless (to be honest) about achieving my target score of +700, but after tutoring with Harry and Charles, I was able to score a 710. They helped me become confident in my skills and knowledge, and they enhanced my thought process to optimize my test-taking performance. I am forever grateful for their patience and support throughout my journey. I give GMAT Ninja the highest recommendation to anyone looking to improve their score. Not only are they brilliant and experienced, but they are also wonderful people.

TLDR: Harry Duthie is an absolute legend who helped me achieve a 750 after I couldn't break 690 using TTP and a test prep course. GMAT Ninja isn't cheap, but the attention and skill of these folks makes it 100% worth it. If I could do it all over again, I would have engaged Harry much earlier in the study process.
My GMAT study journey began with Target Test Prep after scoring a 650 on my first cold mock. While TTP is an incredible content review, I found myself quickly overwhelmed with the sheer quantity of content & questions, and feeling entirely on my own when stuck on questions / concepts. This led me to enrolling in a group course (Test Crackers). While the course helped with test strategy and had office hours, the incredible amount of time spent in classes and doing problem sets left me feeling burnout and was often untargeted. Also, by the end of the course it became clear to me that most group classes are focused on getting people to the 600s, but test company courses’ overreliance on sometimes gimmicky strategies and focus on teaching towards the average won't reliably yield a 700+ score.
After spending 100+ hours on TTP and Test Crackers, I took my second official mock and received a 710 (V42, Q45). Seemed fantastic until I took my third mock official mock and received a 640 (V41, Q36). With only two weeks before my first scheduled official exam I reached out to GMAT Ninja.
Within the first reply it was clear to me I was going to be working with experts who truly cared about maximizing the performance of their students. Charles took the time to go through my mocks (free of charge) and identified timing issues & concept gaps and gave me an extremely honest and accurate assessment of the time and work it'd require to achieve my goal score.
I went on to work with Harry who is an absolute gem of a person. He took the time during our first session to holistically understand what was holding me back (i.e. time management and content gaps). We went on to work together for ~10 sessions during which we'd review concepts, work through problem areas together, and discuss timing strategy. GMAT Ninja even has proprietary question sets to help target weak spots without have to burn through OG questions.
What really stood out to me about Harry is that he clearly took significant time and thought before sessions to look through my error log from the homework and identify what concepts were holding me back. Therefore, our sessions together were always extremely targeted and efficient. Absolutely no gimmicks - he helps you fully understand the concepts and gives you tailored approaches to question types that trip you up. Harry is also incredibly honest - he will tell you when you need more work and will tell you when you're ready. By the end of our time working together Harry made it clear that he knew I was ready and that more tutoring wasn't going to benefit me despite my desire to keep going (he was right - I got a 750).

Some background here - I started prepping for the GMAT in January of 2022 and strictly used TTP to completion for 3 months. After taking all 6 practice exams and completing additional studying with OG materials, I felt ready to take the exam in May. My practice exam scores averaged 760/770.
My first attempt on 05/20 was a big disappointment with a 700, so I took it again a week later and got a 720. These scores were well below what I thought I was capable of scoring, so I decided to work with a tutor.
Right off the bat, Charles was a pleasure to communicate with. His initial thoughts proved true, my timing was off. I spent too little time on easy questions and suffered from unforced errors and spent too much time on hard questions.
I worked with Michael M. for 4 sessions and he was great. Incredibly professional and very insightful - he expanded on the issues that Charles mentioned and helped me refine the soft skill of time management. Honestly, I'm not sure that this is something I could have done on my own. Michael helped me refine this skill with our weekly sessions and homework in between.
I took the exam approximately 4 weeks after our first session and blew my expectations out of the water. I scored a 770 and was thrilled. I can't thank and recommend Michael and Charles enough. Their prices are incredibly fair relative to the other tutoring services out there. At least for me, the tutoring certainly paid for itself.

I started working with Dana after scoring a 680. I would highly recommend Dana + GMAT Ninja -- the structure is organized, they have very robust content for practice and studying, and working with Dana really helped me learn both content and strategy.
Prior to the GMAT I had not done math since basically high school (!), and Dana helped me re-learn all of the concepts well and helped structure my approach. I thought I had no shot at getting a good quant score given my background, but with a focused approach and with strategies for facing different problem types, I was able to score a Q49.
For Verbal, Dana was helpful with establishing a consistent approach. I came in stronger on the Verbal side, but could be inconsistent -- she gave me helpful advise on tackling each problem type in a structure approach that kept me on pace.
I also found the online videos for both Quant and Verbal really helpful -- particularly for Verbal, the GMAT Ninja videos were really helpful walking through some more complex SC and CR questions and approaches.
Without Dana + GMAT Ninja I don't think my score would have improved so much -- would definitely recommend!

My GMAT journey was an interesting one, I had been studying for ~1 year before I reached out to GMATNinja. I had used a very popular GMAT online course for both quant and verbal prior to tutoring, and although I felt like I knew all the rules for the test, my execution was erratic.
My practice test scores reflected my erratic processes, as my scores ranged from 650-690, even though I felt as if I could do more. After reaching out to Charles, he quickly connected me with Bransen.
Over the next two months, we worked diligently in a structured way to target verbal (specifically CR and RC) as well as quant. Bransen was very deliberate in his approach and provided real-time feedback during our sessions that helped me adjust my thinking process and led to continuous improvement. On Quant, Bransen was quick to point out that where I was losing the most points was on careless errors, which were holding me back from reaching my potential. After eliminating these careless errors, he convinced me that I could achieve a strong quant score.
After two months of work, I took the test and received a 760 (Q49/V45). I am very happy with my decision to reach out to Charles a few months back and grateful to work with Bransen, whose methodical approach and patience working with me were instrumental in achieving my GMAT score goal.
I would recommend GMATNinja to anyone who is looking to take the next step towards an elite score on the test! These guys really know what it takes!

I signed up with GMAT Ninja after completing a two month self-study course, three OG practice exams, and my first official GMAT attempt. I scored a 660 (V45, Q36) on my first official attempt before tutoring began. As a side note, the highest of my first three practice exam scores was a 630.
Once signed up with GMAT Ninja, I was tutored by Bransen for the next two months. Bransen was great to work with. He helped me to understand and fix my bad habits. Most of my tutoring with Bransen was focused on Quant. After two months, I took the test again and scored another 660, but this time it was a V38 and Q43. My Quant definitely improved, which was my main goal going into my tutoring sessions. I knew my lower Verbal score was a result of my lack of discipline during the test, so I scheduled my third attempt for a month later hoping to score a little higher overall. I knew if I followed Bransen's advice with Quant that I could at least match my last Quant score. I also knew if I eliminated dumb mistakes with Verbal I could get it back up close to a V45. After a month of light study, I took the test again and to my surprise I scored a 760 (V51, Q45). Bransen was instrumental in me achieving this score. His voice was always in my head as I prepped for my last attempt. It was money well spent to get advice and coaching that I couldn't get from a self-study prep course. Bransen even gave me some tips via email after our tutoring sessions had ended. I'd recommend GMAT Ninja to anyone who feels stuck or discouraged with their GMAT scores.

I reached out to GMAT Ninja at point in my gmat journey wherein I had spent almost 2 years studying using various sources. But after all this effort I was unable to improve my performance on the quant section and was scoring between Q35 to Q40 on official mocks.
Harry Duthie the tutor who I worked with helped me immensely in recognising the exact process related mistakes that I was committing. The perspectives and solutions that Harry bought in based on his prior experience really helped me my improve Quant score and become much more efficient in Verbal. Harry and Charles were both very accommodating to all my requests and very prompt in responding to all the queries.
I would definitely recommend GMAT Ninja for any looking to improve their GMAT scores.
It is quite difficult for me to write about GMAT Ninja, but more in general GMAT, without being emotional.
Probably it is because the application process took me so long. I am Italian and I hadn’t any clue of what English was until I finished my bachelor's. It took me almost a year and a half to go through the whole process: learning a new language, how to write a personal statement and, of course, the GMAT. And it has been a really important part of my development as a person.
In Italian “Terrific” is considered to be a false friend. “Terrificante” means terrifying, and I think these two words are perfect for describing the G-MAT. It could be ridiculous how this test digs inside you. It doesn’t matter how a good student you are (Concepts are important but pretty easy). To achieve a good result, you have to understand yourself, not concepts. It is both terrifying and terrific what you can discover by facing this test. I would definitely say that I feel like a new person after the G-MAT experience, and G-MAT ninja was the engine that let me do this.
So why are they the best – I would say the unique – prep test company out there? Probably a review would not be enough to speak about all the details. The approach that Charles has is something crazy. There is a lot of research on the way he (and of course the other tutors) teaches. Every part inside and outside the lesson(s) has its reason and more important is unique for every person. It was incredible that Bransen, who has followed me for “only” 6 lessons, seems to know me for ages after a couple of weeks. Sometimes he spoke some sentences that made me speechless. The way he knows my mental paths, my processes. The way he understood my fragilities and my weaknesses. But most importantly how he made me understand what to do to change my bad habits. I think it would not be possible without being obsessed with quality. Every step is thought to have the best response regardless of who the student is. Maybe I am going too far, but I would say that even the cost of the lesson is part of the lesson itself. I have not tried the Test Anxiety Program but from what I have read it seems to be the perfect child of this reality. I cannot even imagine how they work to build such a program.
Apart from these technicalities, if you decide to hire them, you will hire people who are not just smart, but who know the value of communication and active listening. It is clear that the first quality to be a G MAT ninja tutor is to be a good person.
If you want to maximize your score and discover something new about yourself there is no other choice apart from GMAT ninja.
Also, they have great taste in terms of food. So, you can be sure that your money will be spent wisely.
Thanks again to everybody there. Charles, Bransen and any other person that contributes to this wonderful project.
