A company's marketing team has 60% males and rest females. Its finance team has 40% males and rest females. Neither of the two teams has any person in common. What is the difference between number of female employees of the two teams?

(1) Number of male employees in both teams is equal.

(2) Number of female employees in finance team is 125% more than the number of female employees of marketing team.

Can you please specify the source?

Statement 1) Deals with ratios; you get an answer in a:b form
Statement 2) Deals with rations; you get an answer in a:b form

Combining the 2 options would also give a final answer in terms of a ratio. E it is!

Let the total number of employee in marketing = X
therefore, the number of male =0.6x
number of female =0.4x
Let the total number of employee in finance = Y
therefore, the number of male =0.4y
number of female =0.6y
we have to find: 0.4x-0.6y
or 0.6y-0.4x

Statement 1

0.6x=0.4y
or, 3x =2y
We have 2 variables and one equation , hence insufficient

Statement 2

0.6y =9/4*0.4x
or
3x =2y
same as statement 1, insufficient

combining statement 1 and 2
we have 3x=2y, insufficient
Hence answer is E

1). As we can clearly see that we can only find the ratio from one. Because we aren't given any amount. Plus not even sufficient data to find it

So answer is in bce

So the answer will be between c or e

Combining both the options
Even now there r 3 unknown variables. One number of males number of females and total numbers of employees.
So the answer will be E
