(A) 4/5

(C) 5/6
(D) 2/3
(E) 3/5

Let CP = 100 & SP = 125

So, ratio of cost to selling price = \(\frac{100}{125} = \frac{4}{5}\), Answer must be (A)

We can create the following equation:

80 - c = 0.25c

80 = 1.25c

64 = c

The ratio of cost to selling price is 64/80 = 8/10 = 4/5.

C.P. : 80

S.P. : \(80 * \frac{125}{100} = 100\)

Ratio: \(\frac{80}{100}= \frac{4}{5}\)
