Are significant others welcome on any of the KWEST trips or are there only specific trips where you can go with your SO?

Thanks for the information Jerz. So I would guess they would update the KWEST page similar to last year's sometime around the beginning of April so everyone has enough time to research the trips they are interested in before committing to one in May.

I am pretty sure significant others can attend KWEST.

JV's are definitely welcome and encouraged to come on KWEST. Oftentimes, couples won't even let the group know which of the two are the student and which is the JV (or if both are students) until Reveal (the night where everyone lets each other know where they're from and what they did).

Because Weekend at Kellogg would lead to a bad acronym however you structure it.

Haha. WAK. Yeah... not really a good acronym.

I've been wondering the same thing about DAK - "come to Day at Kellogg........for the weekend!" This actually confused my hotel booking agent when I called to make a reservation.

How about Weekend With Kellogg? WWK. Or WWiK. :-D

My posts in this thread were not for naught...just got in! Will most likely see you guys at DAK II (although it conflicts with my only other welcome weekend).

Re: Admitted to Kellogg Class of 2011 Thread [#permalink]
Quick question (apologies if this is covered elsewhere): is the financial aid submission supposed to be made after you decide to go to the program? From what I understand, most of the scholarship and grants are given after you submit for financial aid, but it's tough to decide on a program before you know about scholarships and grants.

The submission date for financial aid is in mid-April, if I remember correctly. But you have until early May to accept/decline the offer. So that would imply that you can apply for financial aid before notifying them of your decision. Seems strange, but I'm sure you could call to verify this (I'm planning to accept the offer regardless, otherwise I'd make the call myself).

I called and you had it right.

Who didn't have it right was the admissions director, who is quoted as saying on a ClearAdmit chat transcript that scholarship opportunities are available to 1Y students (albeit in relatively lesser numbers than for 2Y/MMM). Turns out that's not the case.
