Could you please let me know, how you calculated your GPA ?
Are you from Delhi ?

Thanks
Ankush

Hey ankush

I am from kerala. As mentioned above my gpa is 7.7/10. According to my college standards all above 7.5 is considered the highest grade. If that is criteria gpa is 4. The highest in my university would be about 8.4. So that makes my gpa about 3.7 when reduced by scale. Which to take from the above i am not sure...

hi akshaydiljit,

On GPA front, you don't really have to over think about this. Share in your application along with your grade or marks (cumulative average) an official explanation of scoring pattern at your univ/college. This will allow Adcom to understand how the grading mechanism at your univ works. I am sure they have witnessed and handled several cases with diff grading mechanisms.
