Hi All GmatClubbers,
My name is abhishek. I am from an non-mathematical background. I am planning to take gmat in a couple of months. I haven’t started my preparation yet. I was going through the forums to know more about the exam. Based on the information found in the forum I have prepared a list of books that I am planning to refer to get a good gmat score.
1. Powerscore CR bible—for CR Section
2. Manhattan SC guide 4th edition & Aristotle SC Grail--- For SC section
3. RC 99 book & Kaplan premier 2010 & Newspaper Editorials—For RC section
4. 5 Manhattan QA Guides & Manhattan Math Supplement & Kaplan 2010- For PS & DS section
5.
OG 12 & OG11
6.
OG Verbal Review 2nd edition &
OG QA Review 2nd edition
I am planning to take the following tests once I am done with the books
1. Manhattan 6 CAT’s
2. Kaplan 4 CAT’s
3. 2 GmatPrep Tests
4. GmatClub Challenges
I have few questions for which I need clarification from you guys who have scored high on Gmat
1. Is referring ” Gmatclub LSAT 116 RC passages document” , “GMAT Club Math Book_09-Oct-2010” & “Kaplan 800 book “ worth the time even after referring the books listed above?
2. Does the 5 manhattan QA guides covers all the gmat tested concepts in depth or do I need to refer some additional material for some topics? I got some materials (Time Institute, IMS & CL ) for the CAT exam which I presume all Indian guys are aware of from my friend who made it to IIM C last year which looks pretty exhaustive. Is referring those materials worth the time besides referring the books listed above? Please note that I am aiming for alleast 750 in gmat.
So will the above plan be sufficient to score more than 750?All Gmatclubbers- Please provide your valuable inputs & also please clarify my questions.
