Ratio of F:M=3/2 - F=3M/2
F+M=300
3M/2 + M =300

The ratio of females to males is 3 : 2, or 3x : 2x. We can create the equation:

3x + 2x = 300

5x = 300

x = 60, so there are 2 * 60 = 120 male students.
