Let total employees be 100

engineers - 70
Non egg - 30

Salaried engineers - 50 Hourly engineers 20

Of the total engineers(which is 70% of the total employees),

if 50% are salaried, the remainder 70%-50%(20%) are hourly engineers(Option A)

70% of employees are engineers. Out of which 50% of total employees are salaried engineers.

Hourly engineers = total engineers - salaried engineers = 70% - 50% = 20%

Let’s say there are 100 employees.

70 are engineers, and 50 are salaried engineers.

Thus, 20, or 20/100 = 20% of the employees are hourly engineers.

Answer: A
