I have been self-prepping for GMAT for a month now. The
error log has proved to be my best friend and foe. I have a habit of solving questions at a stretch. So my
error log is big enough to be published as a workbook!
When I revisit my
error log and notes I have a tendency to open them all up at once and go over them afterward.
But as we know opening hyperlinks from excel one by one can be a tiring job so I found a way to batch open these hyperlinks in my default browser.
It comes in pretty handy.I couldn't find anything on this particular topic so I decided to create one.
I will give you steps to follow the same:
Step 1: Open your excel
Error log workbook. (duh!)
Step 2: Go to developer tab

Step 3: Go to Visual Basics and click on Insert Module and Select Module

Step 4: Now a command window must be appearing in front of you. Paste the code given below in the command window and run it.
Sub OpenHyperLinks()
'Update 20141124
Dim xHyperlink As Hyperlink
Dim WorkRng As Range
On Error Resume Next
xTitleId = "KutoolsforExcel"
Set WorkRng = Application.Selection
Set WorkRng = Application.InputBox("Range", xTitleId, WorkRng.Address, Type:=8)
For Each xHyperlink In WorkRng.Hyperlinks
xHyperlink.Follow
Next
End SubAttachment:

Step 5: A command window requesting your input will pop up. Inset the range of rows /columns you have your hyperlinks in and voila! All the links must start opening in your browser one by one.
