Can the recommender answer these in one essay.?

Also, is there any limit for LOR,
I know for Essays, the word limit is 400.

Maybe that's a stupid question but what is expected in the application section that asks to elaborate on the sources prompting you to apply? Since there is a whole essay on Why MBA, why Johnson, etc., it must be asking for different information.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not exactly sure of the word limit, but my recommenders did mention that there is a character limit. It seems like my recommenders have to respond by typing into the boxes offered within the online recommendation websites, and there is a limit on the number of characters. I have the impression that the limit may not be very generous.
