planning to apply phase 2 deadline jan 15 2024. IIM Lucknow accepts online gmat score for IPMX. IIM K also accepts online gmat scores for PGP-BL. Does IIM Indore also accept? Can somebody pls confirm?

which is better? IIM Lucknow IPMX or IIM Indore EPGP or IIM K PGP -BL?
Can somebody do a quick ranking?
As IIM PGP- BL is fairly new, IIM Indore and IIM L are 15 year old courses. This is the only info I have been able to find so far..

placements and also roi wise both individually and collectively speaking IIMK PGP-BL is better than the other two for 1 year MBA but for 2 year MBA the other two are better than IIMK so go for IIMK PGP-BL . IIMK PGP-BL has better placements in spite of just 3 years work experience guys getting admits than the 5+ years guys in IIMs L and I. IIM L IPMX is in Noida location so that’s great and better than Indore. vishalauudi,

I have done a placement report comparison for last 3 years: 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23.

IIM L : 2022-23: Median: 26L, Mean 26 L
2021-22: Median: 24L, Mean: 24L
2020-21: Median: 20L, Mean: 20L

IIM K: 2022- 23: Median 25L, Mean: 29L
2021-22: Median: 25L, Mean: 29L
2020-21: Median: 20L, Mean: 24L

IIM I: 2022-23: Median: 30L, Mean: 28L
2021-22: Median: 23L, Mean: 25L
2020-21: Median: 19L, Mean 19L

NIRF rankings of Govt of India has ranked: IIM K at #3, IIM C at #4 , IIM L at #6, IIM Indore at #8
Global FT rankings: IIM A : #51 IIM Indore #89, IIM Lucknow at #90, IIM K at #77

Apart from this if reputation of the institute matters, IIM Indore has achieved triple crown accreditation, IIM K has double crown accreditation and IIM L has a triple crown accreditation as well.

If there are any other indicators to assess the rankings of b schools, pls do add.

NIRF rankings gives weightage to Research too. Its based on Institute I guess and not particularly on the basis of the 1 year MBA. NIRF rankings are a huge BS

the other two rankings are acceptable

IIM I had 37 students out of 57 seats only so their Mean and Median are based on 37 students while IIM K has 60-65 students and IPMX has 101 seats

Out of blue..but why are people not considering XL ..which is in the same league..and the placements for past 2 years have been better than L or I

And the average work ex being 7 ..compare to L or I where it is 9

Khukan, this means L is way better than I as I said previously in numbers in spite of L having almost thrice the students than I in the same year right?

XL is too good but I would have opted IIMs L and I over XLRI in that order......... IIM K PGPBL tops the list out of these four. vgoel26,

Don’t listen to anyone online unless you know them. Every data is available online and you have all the access to reach out to alums. Do your own research and don’t need to get anxious listening to people giving reviews about top B schools when they themselves haven’t attended one. Do your own due diligence and decide.
