Thanks, 3underscore. I agree with you, but I'll see what they say. I appreciate you being a resource so at least when I call I'm not bugging them with questions that any old dummy could figure out.

You're right, the document is quite straightforward. There are only a few classes listed, and even someone with no French background could guess what 75% of it says.

(They ultimately shouldn't care too much anyway. The grades didn't factor into my undergrad GPA, though I wish they had.)

eowyn,

Congrats! noticed that you mentioned you wished to switch to a career in Media I was wondering if you could elaborate what you envision yourself doing with a Media career it's something that I'm interested in and I know NYU Stern has a Entertainment & Media specialization.

sometaxgeek, I mentioned moving to Strategy in Media. What is your area of interest?

xlick, Stern is the most convenient option for me given I am already in NY and my husband works here. Columbia and Stern are close choices for me given their location + specialization in Media. However, I am leaning slightly more towards Stern as opposed to Columbia. Actually LBS was my first choice and I am waitlisted there. How about you? Have you already interviewed with Stern?

I am interested in Strategy Consulting but I am definitely going in with an open mind. I might fall in love with something else (perhaps finance or media and entertainment), you just never know. While I have my own goals, I'm also looking to explore some new areas. :)

eowyn, I don't have a specific area of interest currently with respect to Entertainment & Media. My interest in the industry is just general it mainly stems from my work experience to date (Senior Tax Associate in Big 4 Public Accounting Firm). I've worked on several large and small entertainment client accounts out here in Los Angeles and always found learning about how things work in the industry pretty interesting although in my role I am simply a tax advisor to an event that has happened after the fact. So I'm looking to take on something with a bigger role you could say.
