You don't have any numbers ? or details? there is some speculation that the interview invites go by sector, but I could be wrong.

4 NY based banking/PE background, 2 NY based banking/consulting background

let's hope there are more to come...last week was the first week we heard a big group getting interviews out here

There is none, refer previous posts, interview invites have gone on right until the last 2 weeks before the decision deadline.

Count me in for R3. Took the GMAT on Friday, pulled 710. Majored in journalism at a big state school, have worked in web marketing for around three years.

How come this is the most inactive forum on GMAT club? Only 30 something pages when compared to 100's of pages on other schools. And another interesting thing- only our friends and friend's of friends get interview invites from Stanford.

thanks, just asked because it seemed like a few earlier invites were from outside the US.
Although there have been a few invites from within the US as well.

Not that the order of invitations (or lack of) really makes any sense.!

Maybe because we're on a forum instead of saving the world :) Or Stanford scours the forum to know who not to interview. dun dun dun. rumors!
