For this essay, we would like you to reflect deeply and write from the heart. Once you have identified what matters most to you, help us understand why. You might consider, for example, what makes this so important to you? What people, insights, or experiences have shaped your perspectives? 2. Why Stanford MSx, and why now? Please describe your aspirations and how your Stanford MSx experience will help you realize them. Why is this the right time for you to pursue your master’s degree at Stanford GSB? I just realized that I thought the Essay B should be 450 words instead of 400. I did 440 and I am truly disgusted.
Do you think it could be a reason for dismissal ?

Hi Aicha! No I really do not. If they wanted to be super strict about this they would go the path of Wharton where everything is done in text boxes and you cannot go over by a single letter. I habitually go 10% over at times which is OK as long as you dont do this on every essay (actually learned this when working for a big firm represented here). Of course we have no idea how things will turn out for you but please rest assured they would not refuse to interview an applicant for this reason. It would not be in their best interest to be so petty.

Hi Aicha! No I really do not. If they wanted to be super strict about this they would go the path of Wharton where everything is done in text boxes and you cannot go over by a single letter.
