ericguz are you a R1 applicant who was just recently informed of a scholarship; a R1 applicant who got in and received a scholarship at or around the time of admission; or a R2 applicant who has gotten in with a scholarship?

I would suggest going for an on-campus interview if you have not been to McCombs/Austin. Other than providing you with a personal insight into the MBA program (be sure to schedule class visits and coffee chats with students) you'll also be able to have a taste for life in Austin and at UT.

2. I think that's true, but I'm not positive because I'm technically a Texas resident still - military
3. I found out about the scholarship a couple days after acceptance and then I sent in my deposit

One more question: how did you learn about the scholarship - email, telephone call or regular mail ?

I am a R3 applicant and I have obviously noticed that R3 interview invitations have started going out. I was just wondering how long they send them out. Are they all sent out within a few days or does it take a while? Basically I'm trying to figure out how long to reasonably expect to get one, and when to realize that I probably won't.

Congrats to all those who have them, hopefully I will be getting one soon.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Congrats on the acceptance and the Scholarship! I think you're one of the very few to get a scholarship from McCombs so far (from R1 applicants i.e) :)

^ admissions decisions for R2 will be released the week of Feb 20. However a friend of mine admitted in R1 got the call on the Friday before the official admission notification week began. By that logic the earliest R2 applicants will hear is next Friday (Feb 17).

I did not receive an e-mail confirmation that I had submitted it. However when I tried to go open up the survey after submitting it told me I'd already taken the survey, so that means it was recorded somewhere that I filled out the survey, at least.

If you're paranoid you could always e-mail admissions and confirm that they did receive your response.

Hello ! I am also an R3 applicant and I received an Invite as well.
I have been trying to login to the UT site to check for Aluminis in my area and the site seems to be down from Friday ! Seems like UT is aware of this issue when I checked with the ad-com. Are any of you facing this too?
