Re: Can I take an online GMAT before 16 days have passed since in person? [#permalink]
Hi! I took the GMAT on September 3rd, I was wondering how are the 16 days counted? I'm planning to take again the test on September 19th, will it be ok or do I have to wait till the 20th?
(Both online exams)

Thanks!

The booking calendar should show you when is the earliest you can take the exam again. There may be no slots available, for example, just after the cool down period ends.

Hi fsf4,

The 16-day down-time between attempts only applies to Exams taken in the SAME format - meaning that there's no waiting period if you switch to the other format. That having been said, if you score significantly lower than expected on your GMAT (regardless of the format in which you took the Test), then 'rushing in' to retake the Exam is probably not the best idea. The online scheduling Tool will not let you schedule your Official appointment on a date that falls into any down-time period, so you'll know how long you have to wait simply by using the Tool.
