Re: Can schools see FUTURE GMAT results?

I had the same situation, guys. Let me explain. I have taken the test twice and just 1 school was the same in both tests. However, I have experienced that the old schools could not see the new score for future exam. For example, I have chosen the Univ of Minnesota as score recipient for my 1st test and I have not assigned the school as a score recipient for the 2nd exam on which I had an improved score. As I have applied to the school with this improved score, they warned me to have the new score sent by the testing company, GMAC.
Thus, it is important to choose wisely to which schools you would like to send the scores. As bb said, future test scores will not be sent to the old score recipients. However, new scoring recipients could see ALL scores taken in past 5 years including the old ones. This seems to be problematic and sometimes heart-breaking but the exam takers should know this rule before determining the score recipients. I hope that it is more clear now. Regards,
