Just had my cornell interview, It was with a second year student. Interview was very conversational. There were a lot of follow up questions. First half of the interview was the classic, tell me about yourself, Why mba, why now, why cornell. The second part was totally dedicated to how i plan on using cornell’s resources, contribute to them and how much i have interacted with the cornell community already. There was not TMAT question.

Just finished my Ross R2 interview. Sharing questions and format in case it helps someone prepping. Format: Alumni interview (based in USA), virtual, ~25 minutes of Q&A + 5-10 minutes of me asking questions. Very conversational — started with some small talk about weather and background before getting into the structured questions. Interviewer was friendly and engaged throughout. Questions asked: -Why MBA? Why now? -Tell me about yourself / walk me through your background -Why Ross? -Did you speak with any current Ross students or attend any events? -Tell me about a situation where your manager gave you constructive feedback -Tell me about a time you worked in a diverse team -Do you have any questions for me? After some question, there was at least 1 follow up question if not more We spoke for 5 mins about "Why MBA", why can't you laterally move to achieve your ST goals etc Good luck everyone

Just finished my Ross interview, Weirdest one I've had yet. Tmay - I talked about how I played tennis. We discussed federer vs nadal for a few mins. (I think he was not happy that I dissed Federer despite saying Federer was my favorite. ) Then he grilled me about my work on digital transformation for 5 mins. Then why mba and Ross. Then TMAT conflicting opinions - grilled me for 5 mins here. Then TMAT conflicting priorities + failure. Tell me how you lead teams. Any questions for me at the end This lasted 40 mins 15th was the final interview date in the portal that I saw so I'm not sure that this would help anyone but just in case

MBA Interview The interview was very conversational in tone. The interviewer first introduced himself and shared a bit about his background, which made the interaction feel comfortable and natural. He then asked me to introduce myself. We had some light small talk before moving into the structured questions, which made it easier to relate to him and respond thoughtfully. Questions Asked by the Interviewer Tell me about yourself. What are your short-term and long-term career goals, and how do you see an MBA helping you achieve them? Why pursue an MBA in the United States instead of Europe, India, or Singapore? You’ve already mentioned several reasons in your application — are there any additional ways the ROSS program specifically will help you? Describe a challenging time and how you overcame it. Tell me about a very big failure — a complete failure — and what you learned from it. (The interviewer mentioned that this could be either a professional or personal example.) Questions I Asked the Interviewer When you entered the program, did you already have clarity about what you wanted to do? What was your experience building a startup as an international student or international working professional?

Just got done with my interview. My interviewer was taking so many notes. It almost made me nervous. But she was warm. Questions were generic, why mba, why tuck, how will you contribute, 1 feedback you got, what are you proud of, etc. I was asked 1 follow up question also, very basic one on a behavioral question only. It ended up for about 40 min in total. I got time to ask questions as well in the end. Overall it was good, but I do feel I could have structured it better at places. All the best to all of you.

Hey guys, Got done with my Tuck interview. It was with a second year student. Started with “TMAY”, i covered major aspects about my life and career in that. (I try to showcase the school’s required values in this monologue only) Since it was Tuck, i delved deeper into Why MBA and Why Tuck. (Tuck takes this very seriously) There were only 3 TMAT questions. (About a time when i helped someone who was struggling professionally, about a professional mistake i committed and i don’t remember third one) Interview lasted for exactly 30 minutes.

ISB R2 Mumbai Interview Debrief WAT Questions: 1) You are part of the student committee and need to select a vendor for an upcoming event. One of the vendors is a close friend but there are other capable vendors in the consideration as well. How will resolve this conflict of interest and ensure a fair and transparent process for selection? 2) Your study group is severely burnout due to tight deadlines for assignments and tests. How will you manage this situation and plan for avoiding recurring burnouts? My personal interview lasted about 40-45 mins. I had two panellists and overall it was a very comfortable experience. Keep atleast 2 questions ready to ask your interviewers. Personal Interview Questions: 1) Why brings you here today? 2) What is your short team goal and Why MBA? 3) Deep dive into work experience (Nothing too technical) 4) Learning’s from an experience mentioned in the essay 5) How will spend your time at ISB? 6) What student clubs will you participate in? 7) How will you handle pressure at ISB? 8) How would your recommender describe you? 9) How would your friends describe you? 10) What will be the hardest thing for you to handle at ISB? 11) If not Consulting, what else would you pursue? 12) What is your long term goal? 13) How does your day-to-day look like in your current job? 14) What progress have you made since your last application? 15) Tell us more about your experience as a volunteer at Teach for India. What are the gaps and what have you learnt? 16) How do you spend time outside of work? + Some follow-ups on my hobbies 17) Since your current employer is already a major recruiter at ISB, why not continue with the same organization?

It was with adcom member. I won't say it was "conversational". She was just asking questions back to back reading from some list. Read my resume before joining. - Why MBA and why now - Why Mendoza - where do u see yourself 4-5 years from now - Time when u faced a challenge and solved - What does inclusivity mean to you - Random fact about you. Hope this helps, all the best to rest!

It was good! I kinda rambled for one of the questions lmao but got back on track at the end and answered it. The questions were very standard MBA questions. TMAY, TMAT, why rice, why mba, etc. Very conversational interview with 2nd year student! The only "unique / weird" questions I got were "how are you evaluating your university options" and "is rice your #1 choice"
