Hi Experts,
I have been studying GMAT since Dec-13 and gave my exam on 22-Apr. Following was my score across various CAT's I had taken.
No. Date ----------- CAT Name ----------------Score------IR----Quant----Vebal
1 21-Dec-13 ---- GMAT Prep Test 1 (Blind)--550--------5-----36-------- 29
2 7-Feb-14------ Kaplan Free CAT 1---------610--------1-----NA--------NA
3 14-Feb-14----
MGMAT Free CAT 1---------560--------2.5---41--------28
4 22-Mar-14---- GMAT Prep Test 1 (Rpt)---650--------8-----46--------34
5 29-Mar-14---- GMAT Tutor Economist----630---------------45--------35
6 5-Apr-14------ GMAT Prep Test 2--------- 640--------8-----47--------31
7 12-Apr-14----
MGMAT Free CAT 1-------- 640--------3-----45--------33
8 17-Apr-14 ---- GMAT Prep Test 2 (Rpt)---730--------8-----48--------41
I was hoping to get a respectable score around 680 on the real test but what I got was shattering to say the least. Actual GMAT Score -
Verbal - 34/ 70 %
Quant - 39/ 46 %
Total - 600/ 62 %
AWA - 5.0/ 60 %
IR - 1/ 0 %
For some reason I had the impression that I was better in Quant than in Verbal but the results were opposite. Also, I had finished Quant section almost 8 min ahead of time. During the break I had the feeling that either I have done too well or too bad. Unfortunately later was true
!
I have also attached my
error log covering majority of the problems I had worked and reworked these problems but all in vain. I have done OG13 twice,
MGMAT books once and Kaplan book once. Need your advice if I should re-take GMAT. If yes, how much time I should spend on the prep and what are the things I need to focus upon.
PS - I had stopped thinking @ GMAT since last 2 weeks but mustered courage to post this query today.
Thanks,
Epex
