A. 100x/(x−y)

B. 100(x−y)/x

C. (x−y)/(100x)

D. x/(100(x−y))

E. 100y/x

Non white marbles = \(x - y\)

So, Percentage on non white marbles = \(\frac{( x - y )}{x}100\), Answer must be (B)

Since Don has x total and y white marbles, he has (x - y) non-white marbles, so the percent of marbles that are not white is (x - y)/x *100 = 100(x - y)/x.
