ARINGO, I meant from tanimatt. I’d like him to give some rationale so this doesn’t seem like a random pump

nightblade354 they offer help here without charging a penny. They also do not hold back when offering advices. Objectively, you may disagree but they are the better than most out there for this sole reason.

Let me "Start the audience" by asking what happens if I don’t make it on time (due to GMAT or applications)

So
Q: Is there a huge difference between R1 and R2?

A: There is a misconception regarding R1 vs. R2. To be honest, most schools keep the same number of places in R1 and in R2 and the chances are kind of similar. What is the best? Well
R1 is better in terms of project management – you will know in November what is happening with you, and should you target any R2 schools.
BUT, R2 beats R1 any day, if your R1 application is not maximized. For example, your chances are higher, in any school, in R2, if your GMAT is 20 points higher, or your essays are better

tanimatt, fair enough! Just wanted clarification. A ’because’ is always helpful to our audience when they evaluate glowing reviews/comments

Hi guys, I saw on your website you specialize on working with candidates with low GMAT scores or competitive backgrounds . I am looking through your stats, do these really include competitive background candidates?

How much weightage does extra curriculars have on my chances for admit? I dont have much in terms of ’showable’extra curriculars. For example, I’ve learned an instrument for many years. But then, there is not much interms of public performances, etc. Currently my time is spent between my full time job which is IT and a petroleum retail outlet which i help to run. How to showcase these circumstances in the best way?

YES, our stats include 100% of our clients who worked with us on 2 schools or more ... just to give you an idea, around 1/3 of our clients are "Indian male engineers" - that is a very competitive background ... but we do our magic by emphasizing their unique advantages...

Hi, I’m a South Asian (Pakistani) US Citzen who migrated to the US when I was young. Are Pakistanis considered different than Indians? Is there a difference between an Asian from US or Asian international in terms of GMAT targets?

GREAT Question JANAN19 (you get two points :) )When I used to interview for LBS, I used to look for three things: academics (so your BA + GMAT) professional work experience, and "something else" it can be volunteering, an interesting hobby or just being interesting. I didn’t want "boring people" in the class that just did school and work. SO you don’t have to do volunteering but you do need that "extra thing"... hope this is clear?

My profile in summary:

GMAT: 750

Age: 32 M

Undergrad from India: GPA 4 (went to a top private school and a rank holder of that matters)

Masters in Engineering from UT Austin
: GPA 3.6 (A+ in Math courses)

Total years of experience across three countries: 7 years (India,US,Canada)

Work experience:
Worked for a semiconductor giant for many years. Several products that I have worked on have made it to market.Have good progression to show and can get good recommendations. Have won several notable accolades along the way

Currently working as a PM in a startup
I intend to continue in Tech post my MBA

I feel a need to strengthen my business skills and I mostly transitioned to a PM role out of a boot camp. I see myself as a global executive in the future and have solid international experience to show

Target schools: Kellogg Tuck Haas CBS Yale MIT Kellogg ( I’m still reviewing the list)

Post MBA options: I am a Canadian Permanent resident and have my citizenship under process. I also have approved H1b that I can use if I decide to stay back in the US. I can use this to advantage and highlight these points in the optional essay

How would the age factor come into picture and are there any universities in T-15 which do not look down at slightly older candidates
