New to GMAT Club so I'm unfamiliar with this function. Sorry if this has already been answered but for this function, is there any overlap with questions from the Official Mocks?

I still have a few mocks to go so is it better to take all of them first before using this platform?

Thanks!

Thank you for your question - there is No overlap with the official mocks or the official guide. We do not use any of the official questions in our tests and all questions were developed by GMAT Club's own experts and moderators reflecting the GMAT neuances and specifically focusing on non-traditional approaches in quant - where you encounter a question that requires a simple solution but becuase you have never encountered a question like that, it takes you a few minutes to figure out how to solve it (not by having many calculations but rather becuase it does not fit a very usual pattern). This is how hard Quant questions work on the GMAT - they are hard not becuase they require lots of calculations but they are hard because you have never solved a question like that.

Hi bb,

Great work with the GC tests. I was wondering the add-on (GC test - classic) that we get with the purchase on any GMAT courses from marketplace can be updated to GC test - Pro or Elite by paying the difference or we have to purchase that separately ?

TIA

Hello - yes, if you sign up for a course and get GMAT Club Tests Starter package for free, you can upgrade them later to Pro for $20 and Elite for a bit more if you wish.

I'm delighted to see that the platform has introduced additional features like the ability to save notes on each question, view statistics on other test takers' performance, and provide feedback to improve the questions themselves. It's evident that Focus GMAT is committed to continuous improvement and user satisfaction.

They are different with a few possible overlaps of questions that were posted by users on the forums.

Hi everyone and bb,

I have tried 2 full-length mock tests on Gmatclub CAT Tests, which have given me overwhelmingly hard questions. The last one had 45 hard questions out of 64, and the data insight part contained all hard questions. Did the test's algorithm make a mistake, or is this what one could expect during the real exam? Has anyone experienced the same situation? I am panicking and confused :(

GMAT Club tests are known for being harder than the actual GMAT, especially in the Quant and Data Insights sections, so try not to panic—you’re likely better prepared than you feel. On the actual test, you’ll see a more balanced mix of question difficulties based on your performance. All the best!!

Post attempting 9 out of 13 DI sectional tests, the no of available full tests has decreased to 5. How is it so?

Please do not start multiple discussions and posts about a question. You have contacted us through the support form. We have already replied to you.

You have taken too many sectional tests and therefore decrease the number of your full tests.

Quote:
Hello from GMAT Club Support, As you have taken 9 DI tests as sectional and therefore the full tests have decreased since the Full and Sectional tests use the same question bank. There is a pop up about this at the start of every sectional test.

We provide on the description/product that you can take 7 DI and 7 Full tests but it is possible to take all as full 14 tests or all as 14 sectional DI tests.

If you would like to take full tests, we would recommend not taking any more Sectional DI tests.

Thank you,
GMAT Club Support.

Any answers on this one? I had a similar experience and the official mock result was quite different (for good) from the GC full mock. In my mind that extra difficulty kind of reduces the value of these mocks. Afterall, I am only trying to crack the exam not master it. Then again, I might be wrong. If I am, can someone kindly address this?

Yes, the limitation applies to both quant and verbal sectional tests as well. You can take [X] quant sectional tests and [Y] verbal sectional tests, along with [Z] full-length tests in total. Please let me know if you need any further details!

Hi. Unfortunately once a subscription ends, you can only see general statistics but not questions or score report.

Subscription is required to see questions.

Hey everyone,
I’ve been using GMAT Club tests lately and I know the Quant section is supposed to be tougher than the actual GMAT. But I’m wondering—how does the Verbal section compare? Does it feel harder, easier, or pretty similar to the real thing? Just trying to figure out how seriously I should take my verbal scores on these mocks.
