Hi ratneshmittal,

To start, a 690 is an outstanding initial CAT/mock Score (the Average Score on the Official GMAT hovers around 550 most years). Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How much study time - if any - have you put in so far? How many hours have you typically studied each week?
2) What study materials do you currently have access to?
3) What were the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for this initial CAT?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

I understand the question was raised by Ratneshmittal. However, since I am also going through same situation and want your guidance following is what I have been doing :

1. I have 13 hours of office schedule on weekdays so I try and put in 4 hours on weekdays and on weekend on average, based on days when there is office work and on days when theres no work, I study for 10 hours.

2. Offical guide, Advanced OG and Verbal review

3. Q46 and V22

4. Planning to give gmat in september 1st week ; target school - ISB and applying in round 2

Hi Rickooreo,

Rather than having two separate conversations in this one thread, I've sent you a PM with some notes and additional questions.
