I scored really low in the RC - even after taking notes. The primary reason was that the passage contains lots of inference questions. Can anyone suggest an approach for tackling such passages? HongHu..I would appreciate your comments on this
Nearly a century ago, biologists found that if they
separated an invertebrate animal embryo into two parts
at an early stage of its life, it would survive and develop
as two normal embryos. This led them to believe that the
(5) cells in the early embryo are undetermined in the sense
that each cell has the potential to develop in a variety of

I am not wise enough to suggest approaches, yet. I will let HongHu and other gurus offer their far superior insights on the passage.
I was stuck a bit on Q1, choice C which is actually a cause - effect distortion but somehow I was keen on picking that, until I went back and forth to the passage to see that E is plausible.
The passage also required keeping track of certain key terms like 'substances'. Author makes a generic mention of substances and then make a specific refernce of RNA as one such substance. 2 of the questions revolved around keeping track of this information separated by bunch of verbage in between.
