Let the no of girls be \(y\) and no of boys be \(x\). Given that,
\(\frac{1}{3}*x=\frac{1}{5}*(x+y)\)

\(\frac{1}{3}y=\frac{1}{5}x+\frac{1}{5}y\)

\((\frac{1}{3}-\frac{1}{5})y=\frac{1}{5}x\)

\(\frac{2}{3*5}y=\frac{1}{5}x\)

\(\frac{x}{y}=\frac{2}{3}\)

Ans E

Alternate way;

\(\frac{1}{3}*y=\frac{1}{5}*(x+y)\)

\(\frac{y}{x+y}=\frac{3}{5}\)

Form the above equation; \(y=3; x=5-3=2\)

Let students be 15 then 1/5*15 = 3
then Girls = 9
Hence Boys = 6
Ratio of B/G = 6/9= 2/3

Ans- E

If 33% of girls equal 20% of total students

>then 100% of girls equal 60% of total students

>Boys 40% of total students

Boys to Girls 40%:60%=> 2:3
