Assume values for a=5,b=4,c=3,d=1 such that a>b and c>d

Evaluating answer options, we can clearly say that

Therefore, Option E(a + c > b + d) will definitely be true, and is our answer!

a > b
c > d
-------------Sum both inequalities as long as both have same direction

a + c > b + d

Answer: E

a + c > b + d

Answer: E
