My score was around to 36. But I decided that I need to boost my score. After experiencing many GMAT providers, I decided to give TTP a try. I had a long discussion with Jeff and then I registered 5 days for $1 to know more about the course. I went through the whole sections. I discovered that TTP is the right choice for my study math and best fit for my education style. I achieved in many exams 43-44 but the last exam score was hit by family issues right before the exam which made it 42.
Pros:
1- I started to choose what my target score is. Based on it, the system suggests what modules I must focus.
2- The modules could be arranged in Tree plan that built my skills gradually.
3- Each module is divided to sub-topic. This is important to me to learn each idea behind the big topic. In the exam I faced problems that were new for me but it was a weakness.
4- Exams related to each topic were organized in easy-medium- difficult setup. It helped me to build confidence. There are extra problems in each topic to cover my weakness, in case needed.
5- The analytics is easy to follow and could provide flag, if performance deteriorates.
6- The chat panel provides immediate support so that I can’t wait for reply. Jeff and Scott are doing a great job to answer the questions. If something needs more discussion, I can email them and get the answer almost in same day.
Cons:
1- The test questions need to be numbered as It will help to trace it in combination with my test log.
2- I would like to see verbal section to have one platform.
3- To see more tricks for solving math problems.
I’m writing this review to thank the e-gmat team for their great effort. Everyone makes our lives easy to get top score in verbal section. In the same way, I like to share my experience that may help students to shorten when studying GMAT verbal.
I enrolled in Egypt in a classroom course that was disappointing. I rarely understand the CR or solve SC correctly. Through studying each gmat course in gmat club, I found e-gmat content which I was rich. I decide to go for “verbal life prep” to get more life practice and answer my question. There was a good deal for $299 for 6 months. As soon as I registered, I was provided with password to access the website. The program comes with mock tests.
E-gmat organizes the study through plans and calendar for live sessions. IF you miss one, you do not need to panic because you can listen to the recording or simple attend next month.
For sentence correction experience
• Follow e-gmat process. This helped me to understand some of my errors.
• Stick to the level and do not jump.
• Always study the concept even you feel that you know it.
• Review the concept files clearly.
• Solve application files.
• Solve OG13 sentences. I can mark progress
• Attend live sessions especially, parallelism & modifiers.
• There are extra trainings in UG section.
For Critical reasoning experience
• Focus on the “Conclusion and premises” 3 concepts files.
• Study each concept file and its application and dissect
the examples to know how to solve it.
• Give yourself time and do not be rush.
• Pre-thinking is crucial to CR process.
For Reading comprehension experience
• it is easy. I had good experience from my TOEFL exam
All what I need to say is that you need to start engaging with strong source rather than get trapped in other sources that won’t help you.
I started to depend on e-gmat verbal live course which was really invaluable. E-gmat has complemented its verbal live course with the math live course. I registered in one of the early released batches. It never disappointed me at all. The math course is directed to people who want to achieve 700+. The course is highly organized in categorized sectors. Each sector contains diagnostic quiz, explanation of the element and post quiz with high quality problems. The e-gmat teaches always proven path that I need to follow to answer the questions precisely. The live sessions are the real power and no one can ignore the highly sophisticated problems in each section. The e-gmat team provides supports through its forum where their experts can clarify ambiguous issues. Now I can study all my gmat from one source.
I’m going to have my exam after 2 months and I wish to score above 700. I wish that egmat could add Quant e-scholar to have high quality problem practice as the e-scholar verbal section.
I consider egmat my partner in my success to go to my dream school next year.
I opted for EG mock as it was best representative of the GMAT exam. It comes with affordable price for 15 tests. The interface resembles the real exam and it helps my brain to adopt the feeling of real GMAT setting. The quant questions themselves are close to the questions you can encounter in real tests. The verbal ones are great but I prefer to stick to offcial questions, especially the CR and SC. The solution and explanation are great too. Then here comes the analytics in which I can analyze my performance and work on my weaknesses. IMO, EG could provide some live assistance for any doubts that could face the students.
Is the 530 self reported score your score on the gmat? Why would you give 5 stars if you only got a 42 in math since that is not a high math score? You said your score was 43-44 but then you scored 42 so that's a DECREASE!!! That number of stars makes no sense.
I was not clear. I achieved those scores from 36 to 43-44 but I deleted the scores. In my last score, I had sever family that hit me before the exam which made me score plummet. I will edit the review to make clear.
