Since RHS is a square, n can't be negative. So, the smallest value for n has to be 0. We get this only when p=0 in 6-4p, so Option D- 0.

The question stem states that n is the square of a number. Therefore, we know that n is either Zero or Positive.

The smallest possible value of 'n' would therefore be 0.

n = (6-4p)^2.

6 - 4p would result to 0 when the value of p = 1.5 Ans. D.
