If x is a non negative number, Is x > 5?

(1) |4 - 3x| = 14
two cases..
(I) the mod is positive, so 4-3x=14..........3x=-10.....x=-10/3
(II) the mod is negative, so 3x-4=14..........3x=18.....x=6
Since x is non-negative number, ONLY 6 is possible
suff

(2) |2x - 1| = 11
two cases..
(I) the mod is positive, so 2x-1=11..........2x=12.....x=6
(II) the mod is negative, so 1-2x=11..........2x=-10.....x=-5
Since x is non-negative number, ONLY 6 is possible
suff

Thing to remember here that x has to be + ve only
from 1 :
only value of x which suffices is when x= 6, so sufficient

From 2:
again only at x=6 it is sufficient

IMO D should be correct..
