Re: If x is a two-digit integer and the ratio of its units digit to its te [#permalink]
x is ab
b = 2a

(1) b = a + 4
a = 4; 48

(1) ab = 32
2a^2 = 32
a = 4, -4; 48
since can't have two negative digits

Answer D. Each statement alone is sufficient
