Statement II doesn't play any role at all, so answer can be A or E

So let's see the statement I..
The outer figure can be made in various ways, one odd could be square and others can have sides of different lengths and different angles

Can you please explain the highlighted portion. It is not clear.


The one which is given in the question is a square and if you press the opposite diagonals towards each other, another quadrilateral is formed which will not be square
