Hi,

I recently gave GMAT on Monday,13th Nov and scored a 680(V36,Q47 AWA-8).This was an improvement from my last official score of 650-V33,Q47 AWA-3(GMAT score 2 months back) but obviously i am not happy with this score :|

For my prep in these 2 months i used E-gmat's SC course and Magoosh. E gmat was kind enough to extend the validity of my course by a month. Both helped me build up my concepts as well as confidence but i could not break the 700 barrier.i devoted most of my time practising OG questions in the second leg of my prep.

This score was surprising to me as i scored at least 700 or close to that in all my official prep exams(GMAT Free mocks-690,710,exam pack 2-680) with my Quant score consistent at 47.Now i can't figure out whether i should apply with this score or i should give the exam again with r2 deadlines so close? I am not sure if i will be able to enhance my score in a month.

Would really like experts help on this

Hi Your current score puts you in 80% range for all the B-Schools you mentioned, in fact 90% of B-Schools. But Kelley and Fisher should be doable. Since you will 5 years experience at the time of matriculating. So it is also worth it.

I would suggest you focus on the apps for now and apply to Kelley and Fisher. And try out your luck for Cornell and Duke.

But for an Indian- I guess you should have at least 720+ score for many US schools. I would suggest you reach to out admission consultants for a profile evaluation with your current score. Most do it for free for 30 minutes. And then you can decide on how to approach and which schools to apply etc.
