IMO (D)

Statement 1: if all prices are equal to lowest value i.e. 2.9 then if sum of these is greater than 8.5 then it will be valid for all other values. Since 2.9*3 = 8.7 which is more than 8.5. Hence Sufficient.

Statement 2: if 1st highest price is just more than 4.3, for simplicity we will assume it 4.3 and least one is 0. Then minimum possible price is almost equal to 8.6. Hence sufficient
