Wow. I want to go to Houston now. Hopefully I will get stuck on one of my layovers (most of the time I have to sprint through the terminal, however - thanks United for keeping me in shape)

Houston is definitely the best foodie city, IMO, and it's vastly underrated. When you take cost into account, I think it's better than Chicago, NYC, SF, LA, etc. even. There's just a huge variety of ethnic food.

Unfortunately, Houston is pretty spread out, so you'll need a long layover to be able to check out some of the places I mentioned!

I want to recommend Mastro`s Steak house in Beverly Hills ...it is absolutely spectacular ... great food, great service, amazing location (2-3 blocks from Rodeo Dr.)
