Please don’t speculate anything yet. I would take a full diagnostic test and go from there.

Hi JognDoe101,

Unfortunately, there is no practical way to use your results from a mini-quiz to estimate how you might perform on the Official GMAT. If you would like that type of assessment, then you will have to take a FULL-LENGTH CAT under realistic conditions. From your post, it is not clear whether you have taken any CATs yet or not. Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) How have you scored on EACH of your CATs/mocks (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Guys, I just took mba com's mini GMAT Quiz online & out of 8 questions I answered two questions were wrong.....but on published result sheet I see only one is right answer & my estimated score between 220-260........does this result referring to only one question being right or 6 out of eight is right but the questions were too easy (not to me though) & that's how they calculated the result ?

So, let's say that, I answered 6 correct from 8......what would be my score ? 220-260 or more ?

Please, let me know.

Thanks
Go through the explanations if you still can. The answers you marked will be shown there. If you got 6 questions correct, then of course the score estimate should be greater than 220-260. But, as the others have mentioned, the mini quiz is just a part of their marketing, and is not meant to generate a score estimate. Take a look at what they write below the score estimate:

While high quality items are used, the reliability of this mini-GMAT is extremely low.

Hi JognDoe101,

I agree that you should take a practice GMAT to get an actual baseline score. Once you complete the practice exam, fee free to report back here with the score breakdown, and I can provide some further advice.

Good luck!
