HI, what is the average GMAT score required for Great Lakes admission?
Our current PGPM class at Great Lakes has students with over 600 in the GMAT, going all the way up to even 730. Having said that, let me emphasize that the Great Lakes admissions process involves shortlisting on the basis of a complete profile evaluation. Therefore, having a lower score is not a deal-breaker as there have been admits with lower scores but impressive professional and/or academic track record. At the same time, a score within the range, or even a higher one, does not assure a call if your track record has been poor. Therefore, aim for a good score, but also present your profile in the the application form in the best and most authentic manner.
I hae 18 years of work experience. Is it suitable for me?
Hello Kiran, Considering your work experience of 18 years, the PGXPM, one of our executive programs, would be more suitable for you. Click here to check out the program details.
Hi, I am interested in the course, I wanted to know the approx GMAT score I should target with my profile.
10th - 82.6% 12th - 69.6% B.Tech 75.6%
Systems engineer TCS - 3years and 8 months
Left job started my own agro processing unit- 1.5 years experience
NCC B certificate cadet
Was member of college cricket and volleyball teams
Hello Abhi,
Your track record seems good. I would still suggest that you aim for a safe score of 600+. Although, your experience and achievements may be considered once you submit every detail in your application form.
I am interested in the course. I realize that i am late for Round 1 but planning to apply in Round 2.
A brief background -
10th - 88.2% 12th - 75% B.Tech from VIT University - 8.02 CGPA
Work Ex :-
1yrs - In a Budding start up 1 yr - Started my own venture (Hospitality and Trading) but due to lack of experience on my end, handed it over to my family members for time-being. 2 yr - Working as a hardcore sales person in a Japanese MNC.
Co-curricular - Represented my college team for 2 yrs in Formula Student where we made electric cars. Headed the suspension department in the 2nd year.
GMAT SCORE -630 (Taken in June'2017)
So do you recommend me going forward with the admit process or should I aim for improving my GMAT. I am 26yrs old right now, so time is of the essence as well.

I think you should go ahead and apply in cycle 2. You have a good track record and profile. Your GMAT score shouldn't be a problem.
Hey, when can we expect the Round 1 results for PGPM (2020-21). Thanks
Hello,
If you're selected for interviews, you will receive an interview invite over email within a week or 10 days, depending on your location. After the interviews, the final offers would be sent out by the end of the month. Here are the city-wise interview dates:
I have a GMAT score of 690 (41 V 42 Q) but did not submit the score with my round 1 application as I am taking the GMAT again in December. Should I submit the new score that I will get in December or submit my 690 score which I got in June?

Hello,
Your score is 690 is sufficient. However, if there's an improvement, do submit the improved score. Also, do keep in mind that PGPM follows a thorough profile-based shortlisting. Therefore, an entrance score is only one of the criteria for getting an interview invite.
I have been shortlisted for interview, which is scheduled for 14th December'2019.
Its mentioned on the mail that we will have to write an essay on the spot within 20 mins. Can you please help me out with this?
What kind of an essay and how should I prepare for the same?
Will be a general application based essay or general knowledge based?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Hi,
You'll be given a choice among 2-3 topics. You would have to write your opinion on a social or economic situation, technological development, business news, things like these. Yes you would need some general awareness of what's going on around. The test would capture your analytical approach to the topic and your thought process.
Hi, Can I go for PGDM at Great lakes with 2.5years of work experience?
Posted from my mobile device
The PGDM at Great Lakes is for those with less than 2 years of work experience or no experience at all. Since you've already have more than 2 years of experience, you are eligible only for the PGPM, in full-time programs, which will save one year of your time without compromising on the learning experience and curriculum.
