Hi experts !!
I have been taking certain mock tests but I am not being able to complete the sections. Yesterday I took the GMAT prep mock test and scored 530. The score got very low as I was left with around 10 verbal questions and 7 of quant.
Please tell me what is the penalty of skipping 1 question.

Here is the thing. No one in the world can answer you this question except GMAC themselves.
As far as I know, leaving a question answered may lead to varying negative marking.
Logically, I am doing very good and I encounter a question of 700+ level and I miss answering it, I may have more negative marking than if I would have left a question of low difficulty level.
Again, this is my assumption and I might be wrong.
Please note that it is strictly not recommended to leave any question answered.

As per the various discussions in this forum and the feedback received from some testprep companies, leaving a question gives you more penalty than answering a question wrong. Hence, it is strongly recommended to try not to leave any questions at the end. It is hard to tell what is the penalty for skipping 1 question.
