So I have had some recent interest (1 week) in a MS FInance program at my school. Their target profile has a 70-80% quant GMAT score..but since my GPA is really high, I had a finance internship, and leadership in clubs, the advisor said I only need about 50-55% quant to be competitive.
I took 3 Manhattan CAT tests (no prep whatsoever) and scored the exact same score all three times. 37q-37q-37q. According to Manhattan, this is 40th percentile...I am pretty disappointed.
The deadline is in a month (October 30), and my school will admit unofficial scores, so I can take the test up until october 30th.
I need advice on how to get my quant score to around a 42...also, I do not care about verbal, just quant. I have the
Manhattan books from a friend, but honestly I have no idea where to even start because the deadline is so soon.
What am I missing?
I miss almost every Data Sufficiency question, unless it's blatently clear what the answer is..I hate them so much. Also, I have been struggling with rate of work, some ratio ones (600+), and then some algebra that has large exponents (guess I don't know the tricks?) and algebra with variables in exponents...
Any advice would be appreciated.
