Hi everyone, tomorrow is my GMAT focus, at the centre. What all we need to carry apart from the confirmation mail which we can provide on the mobile itself and the valid ID proof? Is there something specific (printout or something like that) ??

Hi Shubham_._,

The only thing you must carry is a valid ID proof (in India, only a valid passport is accepted at test centres). Both DOB and name should be exactly the same as on your mba.com account.

Apart from this, you can take a copy of your confirmation mail and a second ID (like a driver's license), as well as food and water. Electronic devices (phone), books, notes should be kept in a locker at the centre. Make sure that you don't access any of these until your test is over and you are about to leave the centre.

All the best!

Hey! Anybody planning to get Target Test Prep access? Use my referral link (https://gmat.targettestprep.com/plans?r ... NzEzMDA%3D) to get two extra weeks of access for free.

It would immensely help me with my GMAT prep as I would also get two extra free weeks of access.

In parts it depends on how much you’re trying to improve and how much effort do you need to put in. … But I can tell you that works Monday through Friday, so you would be in the same boat as about 99% of the people. It is fairly damaging to your application chances to not be working before you apply.

Hello everyone, I am planning for start my prep for GMAT. I am a working professional for 6 days a week. What is the minimum time I should be looking at for scheduling my GMAT focus. Also, I wanted to know what are the free resources out there, before buying a Paid course for GMAT.

You will be ready to schedule your test when your practice scores reach your goal. Unfortunately I cannot tell when that will happen based on the only piece of information you provided, how many days a week you work.

Looking at free resources, the entire GMAT Club is free and you can use it but it will save you time and effort to have a structured prep plan you would get with an online course or a set of books.

seems your keyboard caps lock got stuck.
PS. I would recommend taking a practice test. It doesn’t matter what books you have or how many days per week you work or what color of hair you have. The only part that matters is What’s the score you have now and what school you want to get. You have to have a starting and ending point… and those determine your journey.

CAPS Purposefully done.

However, when determining a starting point. Should I have to prepare for few days or so and give mock or giving the mock in the current situation without any preparation will do ?

Keep in mind that there is no official syllabus but here’s what we have put together based on the observations in GMAT prep:
