I just got invited for an evaluation interview at Mendoza and I am pretty exicted. Whoop Whoop. Any Ideas on how to beat the interview process. Please share cos am keen on Notre Dame.

My advice would be to not try to "beat" the interview process. The interviewers from Mendoza are extremely nice and welcoming, and seem primarily interested in fit and just getting to know you. Unlike some other interviews which are 100% behavioral in nature, mine also included a discussion on a particular industry and possible challenges within it. I really enjoyed this part as it was back and forth and was far more conversational and idea sharing than being put on the spot. Above all else just be comfortable and prepared to talk about yourself, your journey, and your goals and you will do well. Best of luck to you and all others interviewing in this round, Mendoza is a terrific place filled with wonderful people.

I agree with devooght 100%. The people at the University are amazing! It sounds cliche, but just be yourself and you will do great at the interview at Notre Dame. If you have the chance to interview in person, you absolutely should. The campus is amazing and will truly help you appreciate what Notre Dame is all about. Good luck!

I had my interview yesterday with Andrew Sama and it was awesome. I think I did pretty good. Just one point of concern. in all my interviews, the interviewers have all said they have not looked at my application in detail etc. Thats worrisome. Does that mean even if your interview goes very well, you still might not get admitted.

But am loving the vibe am getting from Notre Dame though, I cant wait

Ok so now, interview is over and good and applications are in place.

Just one worry though, do you know of anyone that was initially a preferred candidate and stiil got rejected especially after such a wonderful interview session.

Regards

Not to be disheartening, but I think Notre Dame throws around the "preferred candidate" status pretty casually, so I wouldn't read too far into it. However, I don't think you could overstate the importance of a good interview. I wish you the best of luck!

Got an interview invite today from Notre Dame. Those who have already gone through the interview with Mendoza please let me know how their interview process will be ? What kind of questions are asked? What is the acceptance rate at Mendoza after the interviews? Any help for my interview is highly appreciated.

Thanks, Unfortunately I juts had my interview:)... I feel it is not upto the mark due to some technical difficulties. There was a sudden power cut and had some problems with my webcam.... Though I have other offers, I am disappointed as in many ways this university is special to me. I think I will have to settle with my other offers and life goes on:)... All the very best to all the aspirants

Sorry to hear that sravangma. However I wouldn't totally give up hope yet. The people at Notre Dame are pretty amazing and understanding. Best of luck when the decisions come out Friday!

I was just checking my application status and the status was updated to Decision Rendered. You will receive your decision via email on the Decision Release Date.

Hopefully it is good news tomorrow! Good luck all!

Is there anyone out there who were waitlisted in R3 and still have not heard a thing? My application status has changed to Decision Rendered but I haven't received a call or email. I'm starting to think it's a bad sign...

Not exactly sure what's going on at ND but I was wl from round 3. Was going to send an update of some sort but status changed to "Decision Rendered" in the beginning of April so I didn't bother. Haven't heard/seen a thing since. I would definitely not interpret this as a good sign, and have moved onto focusing on other apps.
