Lets assume the amount of orange and water added on first day = 50ml
So on day 1 = 100mL*0.6 = 60
On day 2 = 50mL + 100mL = 150mL

Since revenue is same on both days => 100*0.6 = x*150 => x = 0.4 = D

For Day 1
Orange = x L
Water = x L
=> Total solution = 2x L

Day 2
Orange = x L
Water = 2x L
Total solution = 3x L

Revenue for day 1 = volume of total solution * price per glass
= 2x * 0.6 =1.2x

Let y be the price per glass for day 2.

Revenue for day 2 = Revenue for Day 1
=> 3x * y = 1.2x
=> y = 0.4 $

let the quantity in volume be "x".
first case revenue=2x*0.60 (orange:water=1:1 and price per cup is 0.60)
second case revenue=3x*P (orange:water=1:2 and price per cup is "P")

therefore combining the two equations we get;
2x*0.60=3x*p

0.40

Is there anyway this question can be solved by using mixture/allegation?
I was trying to look for an alternative way of solving this question using that method but it does not seem to be working.
