I have been a lurker for a while,and this forum has influenced me in making one of the important decisions of my life.
I am an International student(read Indian),Going for an MBA in Operations/Strategy.
Will be looking for a job in consulting/Manufacuring industry later on.
WE of 5 years in IT and construction business.
I have admits from following

Kenan-Flagler(No Aid)
Kelley(No Aid)
Owen($$)
BU($$)
Smith(No aid)

I am leaning towards Owen for their generous offer,but I want to make a sound decision. Please help me in making the right decision.

If I do choose Kenan-Flagler over Owen, Is the debt of extra 90 grand worth it?

Congrats...plenty of great options, which is a nice problem to have. I think it comes down to Owen vs. Kenan-Flagler. Both are great options, but I would choose the scholarship at Owen. It's a lot of money to turn down...

i am not intimately familiar with any of the schools above, but I have lived in Nashville for a year and for few in NC. Vandy has a great medicine program. the companies and hospitals around Nashville along with this program give Vandy great advantage if you are looking to go into that sector after business school. but, also bear in mind that there will be many others at Owen who will have the exact same thing on their mind.

kenan-flagler is ranked well above Owen for a reason, the facility, student quality, professors, research is top notch. recruitment at the school is testament of that fact.

if you can, do make a trip to Nashville and Chapel Hill. Visit the campuses, sit in a class, talk to alumni.

its not about $$, its your life. the $$ difference can be made up in few short years.

UNC and Owen are peer schools. The scholarship crushes KF. People need to start thinking about the total value of a scholarship vs another school. The average person and owen makes more in a lifetime than those at KF why on earth would you not take the scholarship. It would be impossible to make that money back up.
