Tuck 2012 - Calling All Applicants

Has someone received news from Tuck today?

Judging by last round - which also had decision day on a Friday - the first admits to report on this thread received their calls late in the day on Thursday. The vast majority of those who got admits were called on Friday. Of course gmatclub is just a small sample, but for what it's worth I'm assuming that I won't hear until Friday (if at all......sadface)

Can any Indian admit from the EA and/or first rounds confirm when the calls to Indian candidates commence?

I just checked my application status page, and it says that my application went complete as of 3/13, and it also lists out all my reco's and transcripts received.

My feeling is that my application went through the committee o 3/13 and my ballot has been cast!

I will have to restrain myself from calling admissions for another 31 hrs.

I read we can expect to start receiving calls this afternoon? anyone has any insights into this?

Based on last admission cycle, phone calls will probably start going out this afternoon and continue through tomorrow afternoon.

Strange. My status still says "Complete 1/6/2012" so I am not sure what that means. Maybe the committee rejected me at first glance? :-/

I'm pretty sure the adcomm will make more decisions today. I'm thinking that they'll work late into the night making all of their decisions, and that leaves them tomorrow with a full day to enter all the data from the previous night and then double check it before the email goes out.

As to them calling individual ppl, perhaps the people whos decisions were made yesterday will get congratulations calls first while results of todays meeting are double checked before making calls.

Just my two cents guessing.... I spoke with a Duke admissions rep 3 business days before interview invitations went out, and she had said that up till that point, no decisions had been made about anyone. All of the rounds applications were going to committee in the 2-3 days leading up to interview invitations. So if Tuck is somewhat similar, the committee will only meet close to the deadline to decide on all the applications.

Phone calls already went to international poles this morning.

I received a 5% raise this week. Worth telling Tuck this close to decision date? I figured I'd wait in case I was waitlisted and inform them then.

I don't think it's worth mentioning a 5% raise at any point during the admissions cycle; I would only mention a promotion. With results being released either today or tomorrow, I have a feeling all decisions have been finalized.
