i guess the invites have all gone out already. i had applied last year and was waitlisted and asked to reapply this year. had made several improvements including extra currics and a promotion but so far no love from them.
i guess schools do not view reapplicants positively despite whatever they might say on their website
I have not heard back from Tuck as yet for R2 application ( Jan 4th). Have all the admits been rolled out already? I'd hate to get a ding from Tuck, was really looking forward to it.

You're going to have to wait another 3 weeks. No one will receive an admit until just before the March 16th deadline.

Tuck releases their R2 decisions on Friday March 16th. Unlike other schools, Tuck does not employ a mid-decision date by which you are either invited to interviews or dinged, due to their unique applicant-initiated interview policy.
I did not do the applicant initiated interview because of a last minute application. Does that mean that I will have to do an interview later online other applicant who might not have to?

From what I understand, most applicants who don't initiate an interview are asked by the admissions committee to request one (a self initiated interview) assuming they have a decent shot at the school. The exception is if the student is far away (outside of the U.S.).

SunnyD is correct. For domestic applicants (without extenuating circumstances like military deployments) Tuck strongly prefers that you get to Hanover for an interview. For international applicants (and a few domestic whose applications they like) Tuck adcomms invite you to interview - which can be in person or via skype. Perhaps internationals can chime in here, but I don't think that it's very clear if they're still extending interviews for January round people of if that process is finished.
Thanks for the replies. Would appreciate if you could advise on one more thing.
I am in the US, so was wondering if I should ask the Ad com and schedule an interview now?

Rattle, They're by invite only. For reference, I'm also R2 and based in the US and received a tuck invite (through a mix-up because I had already interviewed on campus) in mid-January. I am under the impression that these invites are long since sent.
R2 - march 16 th decision date right? What do you mean by mixup? Didn't you get it via email?
If what you are saying is right, That means that if I had to get an invite/ interview, I should have gotten it by now.

maybe you can give the tuck office a call? they're very friendly and can answer all your questions. you can ask them if it's too late to do an applicant initiated interview. i would actually highly recommend that you at least try this.
Heart skipped a beat when I saw an email from Tuck in my inbox:

got the same email. Seemed sort of late to be receiving our apps, I wonder if we have been reviewed yet or not?
