Looks like you also have an admit at Rotman. Which one do you prefer of the two?

I received a merit scholarship..however, even after that the cost is overly-prohibitive. Does anyone have any idea how to search for other scholarships/ fellowships as well as how to apply for them?

Hi azsamanta,
Same is the case with me. Loans are the only way I guess.
WRT scholarships etc. - It's pretty late in the year now (as I understand from my searches on the internet). Good Luck.

On the admitted students website under "pre-MBA opportunities" KF has some other fellowship offers listed. They kind of depend on your function i.e. you must do banking, finance, consulting etc.

Hi all, I'm scheduling an interview with Kenan-Flager and wanted to know if you would suggest me to have an on-campus interview with them? Or phone interview is fine. Thanks. - Eason

I think it's completely up to you. I tend to do better with in person interviews so that would be my preference, but I it isn't mandatory by any means. The schools understand that not everyone can make the trip. If you haven't visited campus yet and it is feasible based on where you are located, I would do an on campus interview especially if you aren't too far from Chapel Hill and haven't visited the school. I think visiting the school makes it much more natural to talk about why you want to go to the school when you've seen the school, been to a class, and spoken with students first hand. Good luck with your interview!

Dito and I like the wording that was used above. Haha. This just made my decision a whole lot harder.

anyone on here trying to decide between UNC and emory? Also got into UNC with no money, but got into Emory with about a 1/2 tuition scholarship. Interested in consulting post-mba. Wondering anyone's thoughts?

I think location would probably play an important role in your decision as both Emory and UNC offer similar opportunities in Consulting. Emory is a small sized program, where as UNC is mid-sized program. Having visited both, I think Atlanta is certainly more happening then Chapel hill :)

Personally I would go with the $$$ and take all that comes with it as a bonus :)

I'm essentially in the same situation. I decided that I'm going to attend the admitted weekend events for these two schools along with Cornell, then make my decision. Having gone to an undergrad university that is located in a college town, I think I would prefer that type of an atmosphere over Atlanta, but this weekend will be my first visit to Emory, so I don't really have a strong opinion on it yet.
