That is totally relevant to me! I good gym is a must; but this is Chicago. I can't imagine you being more than a few miles in any direction without a good one...plus U Chicago has athletics. Their school gym will probably do as well.

Thats what I was wondering. I need to cut down on all the flab put on due to working 3 years at IBD!

I have started an FB group, lets take this type of discussion there. Also, can't wait to see real faces behind GC nicks of my future classmates!

They do. In the email they give you the name of a woman whose friends list you need to get on to be invited.

Mine works fine, Tovin. Did you create your username/pw through the /claimaccount url and set up security questions as well? That's all I did, hope it helps...

I also can't get into the Portal, specifically. Admitted Student Site works.

On a different note...to a current student: what are the most popular downtown apartment buildings? I hear there are 4 or 5 buildings that most people live in...and I know one is Millennium Park Plaza...What are the rest?

I can't front...I was the exact same way. Don't worry, your scholly email and letter shall be to you shortly. My letter was in my admit package so I doubt that will change this year.

Cheetarah, do you recall how long after your admit the package was sent to you? I'm taking off for xmas vacation on Friday and I'm going to go stir crazy sitting on the beach knowing there is a package sitting in my mailbox!

You better enjoy your mai-tais no matter what!! Hmm, so I got the call on March 20 and according to the picture I posted on facebook my admit package came on March 26. Do not judge for changing my profile pic to my Booth admit package. The 20th was a rough day for me.

Same issue here as well. I can log in to the admitted students site but I cannot log in to the portal. Maybe it takes 24 hours to update?

The Ratner center is the school gym. I checked it out when I was there for my interview. Its alright, looks a little dated and the facility definitely doesn't feel as nice as some of the other schools. From what I saw, they have all the essential equipment, so it should do. However, it does have a Jamba Juice in it, so thats a plus.
