Congratulations on the journey and fighting all the way - you made it seem and look easy for all of us spectators but I know the hard work it involved and the changes it required! Duke is a fantastic school - congratulations on the final decision and the next chapter of ... funemployment.

Congrats, Jum! I think your tips are spot on, especially about managing expenses and managing time. I considered both, but definitely underestimated them.

After my interview, my Haas interviewer said that it is sad that we need this binary decision at the end to make us think hard on what we want from life and contemplate how our decisions have shaped us.

Did not fully comprehend the sentence by Hass interviewer.

Did he meant that after the results of the application we are able to reflect on our long term decisions that shaped our application profile, in terms of what led our success and what caused our failures.

Just means that if it weren't for the whole application process (and the result at the end of it), we would not reflect so much.

This is very wise. I realized I wanted to do consulting only AFTER I was in the application process and needed to reflect for my essays.
